Michał Baranski “No Return, No Karma”/MROWNA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2026

“No Return, No Karma” is an author's project by Michał Barański — one of the leading Polish double bass players and bass guitarists.

The music of the project combines contemporary jazz with a fascination with Indian music, complex rhythmic structures and elements of Polish musical tradition.

A special place is occupied by konnacol — an art of vocal articulation of rhythmic structures originating from southern India. It becomes not just a technical element, but a full-fledged means of musical expression.

“No Return, No Karma” shows jazz as a universal language that allows us to meet different cultures, traditions and ways of thinking about rhythm.
