We have been organizing sensory-friendly Pianissimo concerts at NOSPR since 2022. These are events prepared according to the principle of “less is more”, that is, dim light, less traffic in the building of the NOSPR, the possibility of free movement around the hall, and also carefully selected, muting repertoire and excellent performers.
The Pianissimo concert series is a proposal for those who are outraged by strong light, loud conversations and noise; for those who feel bad in the crowd. It is a safe space for people with high sensory sensitivity who cannot or do not like to sit still for too long.
Each concert offers 45 minutes of a unique artistic experience, devoid of loud sounds and strong lights. Whenever possible, we try to organize concerts on days when nothing else is happening in the building, to avoid queues to the locker room and crowding in the corridors.
We promise a captivating, sophisticated repertoire and the possibility of close contact with the performers and the participation of volunteers of the ING Children Foundation, who support the participants if necessary.
Sensory-friendly concerts are supported by ING Children's Foundation.
