We invite you to an author's meeting with Michał Tuszyński around the book entitled: “Dad, I'm Not Afraid Anymore”:
Eve had it all — prestige, family and a life that seemed perfect from the outside. She was a respected judge, the wife of an influential lawyer and the happy mother of two daughters. However, behind the facade of success were painful childhood secrets, unspoken fears and betrayals.
As her life falls apart, a woman makes a bold decision — she discovers a new calling and starts all over again as a psychologist. Meetings with patients who are experienced in life and sensitive men become more than work for her. Every conversation reveals the truth: about yourself, about the family and the longing for the father. Will Eve be able to find herself in a new role and help people who are lost in life? Will she be able to face her own traumas and discover who she really is?
“Dad, I'm Not Afraid Anymore” is a moving moral novel about emotional wounds, the strength of family relationships, and the difficult path to self-acceptance. It's a story about how much childhood can affect adult life — and how much, even after years, you can miss your father.
