Experience a very special voice on the alt-pop-rock scene at Store VEGA

In June 2026, 23-year-old Filipino-Canadian Artian MICO released his debut album When the lights turn on.

On the album, MICO combines inspiration from '00s and '10s pop-punk with contemporary alt-pop and hyperpop. The album talks about the many emotions that come with heartbreak, growing up, life on the move and coming home and experiencing that everything feels different.

His latest single, “Everything's the Same,” continues the album's personal narrative of returning home after a long time away and discovering that both people and places have changed.

MICO started out performing cover songs in online communities and subsequently built up a dedicated fan base with his own self-released songs before getting his breakthrough with the EP Internet hometown hero.

He has since garnered over 100 million streams, had a radio hit in Canada with “cut my hair”, received a Juno nomination for the song “HOMESICK” and played sold-out concerts in North America, Europe and Asia.

On January 27, the catchy tunes will take hold of Store VEGA when MICO turns towards Copenhagen on his “IN:BETWEEN TOUR”.
