Municipal Inauguration of the Cultural Year 2026/2027

URBAN INAUGURATION OF THE CULTURAL YEAR 2026/2027 guest event

As every year, we invite you to the solemn Municipal Inauguration of the Cultural Year, during which we will meet the winners of the President's Awards in the field of culture. The “Boy with the Swan” statuette goes to each laureate only once in their lifetime — so it is not surprising that its presentation is accompanied by unique emotions.

This year, representatives of the world of sports will also join the prize pool. During the ceremony, the President's Sports Awards will also be presented for the first time.

This year's celebration will be crowned with a unique concert by Piotr Cugowski. The artist, whose distinctive voice and musical energy have attracted the audience for years, will perform on the stage of the Theater of Entertainment, completing an evening full of awards and artistic emotions.
