Janusz Morgenstern's debut film is today described as a cult film. The background of the events that the film tells about are authentic plots from the biography of Zbyszek Cybulski, co-founder, director and actor of the Gdańsk student cabaret Bim-Bom. Also authentic is the figure of Marguerite, the daughter of a French consul, who spends only holidays and holidays in Poland. In a simple, romantic adventure, the authors of the film intertwined scenes realized in real Gdańsk student cellars, thus trying to perpetuate the unique phenomenon of cabarets in the second half of the 1950s. They wanted to convey their mood, beauty and message, and thus express the state of mind, longing of the then monastic of the golden intelligence. Zbyszek Cybulski's play captures all that is hidden in the shadows, beyond the spoken words, but is present in life: disagreement over the impermanence of feelings, of a world in which there is no place for romanticism, fortunately fleeting as a moment.

The next day after the session we will go for a walk with Tomasz Świderski. We will follow in the footsteps of the heroes of the film and see Gdansk, which was recorded in its frames.

The walk will be conducted in Polish Sign Language.
