Flashing Film Club | film “Doll”

“Doll” is a new, spectacular film adaptation of the novel by Bolesław Prus with a star cast. Starring Marcin Dorociński as Stanisław Wokulski, Kamila Urzedowska as Izabela Łęcka and Marek Kondrat as Ignacy Rzecki.

Warsaw at the end of the 19th century. Wokulski, thanks to the fortune gained in the war, tries to enter the world of aristocracy and win the heart of Izabela Łęcka. His affection leads him through a world of salon intrigue, rivalry and difficult choices. “Doll” is a story of love and unfulfillment, ambition, transformation and a world where old ideals collide with new aspirations.

Due to the fact that the film is 162 minutes, that is, 2 hours and 42 minutes after the screening, we do not plan to talk.

Flashing Film Club is an opportunity to see cinema in PJM, meet other people who like movies.

This is the first such club in Gdansk.
