ul. Teatralna 2a, Katowice

By the time of high school they knew each other better than well and had feelings for each other more than anyone else. Now it all sounds so trite that it's a shame to talk about it out loud, right? Those first infatuations, this whole mythologized first love, actually everything for the first time — too much, too much, too intensely. Is there any trace of those youthful emotions left in the adult lives of the heroes, Hani and Wojtek? What can a chance encounter years later change in their seemingly arranged worlds? Is there anything else to talk about at all, since their separation was so definitive, and now everyone already has their own life?

“It was nice to see you” is directed by Stanisław Chński, an artist of the younger generation. Agnieszka Radzikowska and Michał Żurawski will take us to the world of love from years ago — unforgettable acting couple from the film “Strzępy” directed by Beata Dzianowicz. It will be nice to see them together on the stage of the Silesian Theater!

The following songs were used in the performance: Prince & The Revolution “Purple Rain”, Phil Collins “Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)”, Andrzej Zaucha “Gumisie”.

The play takes part in the 31st National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art.
