Love Confessions at the Piano

We invite you to a unique evening dedicated to love in Polish music and poetry — a meeting of tradition with contemporary music, great Polish poetry with the extraordinary power of human emotions.

In the extraordinary space of the Senatorial Hall of the Wawel Royal Castle, the official premiere of the album “Love confessions at the piano” and the world premiere of Mariusz Kramarz's “Love Songs” will take place.

Outstanding Polish artists will perform on the stage:

The concert program will take the audience on a musical journey through the different faces of love. In addition to the premiere “Love Songs” by Mariusz Kramarz, there will also be selected songs on the love theme of Mieczysław Karłowicz — one of the most prominent representatives of Polish music of the turn of the 20th century.

Mariusz Kramarz's “Love Songs” were composed to the words of Polish poets: Emil Zegadłowicz, Kazimierz Przerwy-Tetmajer, Zygmunt Różycki, Julian Tuwim, Kazimierz Makuszyński, Bolesław Leśmian and Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. The concert program will feature Mieczysław Karłowicz's emotional, moody work, to the words of Kazimierz Przerwy-Tetmajer, Zygmunt Krasiński and Jan Iwański.

The special guest of the event will be composer Mariusz Kramarz, who will talk about his compositions, inspirations and poetry, which became the source of the creation of “Love Songs”.

“Love Confessions at the Piano” is a project combining music, poetry, emotions and Polish cultural heritage, and at the same time an event promoting contemporary Polish creativity and the Małopolskie Voivodeship.

We invite you to a special evening, during which love will speak the language of Polish music and poetry — at Wawel, in the heart of Małopolska.
