MISSION WORLD - DYNKS AND WIHAJSTER ON THE TRAIL

The favorites of the Poznań audience are back with a new mission! Known for the play “Misja Poznań — Where are the goats”, an incalculable pair of detectives faces another mystery to unravel.

This time, Dora Dynks and Waldemar Wihajster receive information about a series of brazen thefts. On the same night, the wings of Pegasus from the roof of the Poznań Opera, one sympathetic lion supporting the fountain in the Rose Courtyard of the Castle and a fragment of the famous neon Poznan Nightingales perish. Without thinking long, the detectives go on a frantic chase after the mysterious thief. This time the leads will take them much further than on the previous mission — they will visit Greece, Spain, even fly to the United States, and also... into space! For what is not done for the beloved Poznań?

“Mission World” invites young and old to a joint adventure full of sudden twists, laughter and sightseeing curiosities. Let's discover together who is behind the series of mysterious thefts, what the Poznań Opera has in common with ancient Greece, and also what is the second, less known face of the homely, local pyra!

The play takes part in the 31st National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art.

The National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art aims to reward the most interesting repertory research in Polish theatre, to support domestic dramaturgy in its stage productions and to popularize Polish contemporary drama. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw.

In the first stage of the Competition, the performances are evaluated by the Artistic Committee composed of: Jacek Sieradzki (chairman), Adam Karol Drozdowski, Dominik Gac, Anna Pajęcka, Kamila Łapicka, Eryk Maciejowski, Wiktoria Wojas.
