Adam TARKO was born in 2013 in Krakow. He started learning the piano at the age of four. His passion, which he found in music, was initially developed at the State Music School of the First Degree in Krzeszowice in the piano class of Jarosław Przybylski. He is currently studying at the State Music School of the second degree named after Prof. Żeleński in Krakow in the piano class of Dr. Milena Kędry, professor of the AMKP.

The joy of pursuing one's passion, combined with the commitment invested in playing the piano, results in rapid progress and extremely numerous competitive, national and international successes. His most recent and most important achievements include laurels won at the International Chopin Competition in London, the International Chopin Competition 'Jeune Chopin' in Lugano, Switzerland (with a jury led by Martha Argerich), the Adam Harasiewicz National Piano Competition in Warsaw, at the Competition “Alternative Competition of Polish Radio Chopin”, several times at the International Chopin Competition in Vienna, as well as the GRAND PRIX prize in the National Music Competition “MUSICAL AUTUMN” organized by the Education Center Artistic.

In February 2025, Adam performed J. Haydn's Concerto with the Chamber Orchestra of the National Philharmonic at the 20th International Piano Forum in Sanok. He has also performed in Kąśna Dolna in the Manor of I.J. Paderewski, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vienna as part of the International Gloria Artis Talents Festival 2025, at the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola, on the stage of the Krakow Philharmonic, in the Karol Szymanowski Villa “ATMA” in Zakopane, in the Studio of Polish Radio and. Władysław Szpilman in Warsaw and in the Nowa Miodowa Concert Hall.

Adam has repeatedly participated in workshops conducted by the most outstanding Polish pedagogues. Since the 2023/2024 school year, he has been included in the scholarship program of the Pro Musica Bona Foundation, and for the 2024/2025 school year he received the St. John Paul II Scholarship for Masters of Education, for special artistic achievements. In June 2026 he received the distinction “Małopolski Carolus” in the field of Artificem Commendat Opus (Master's Praise — Culture and Art).
