The first major role in years - Jan Englert - an icon of Polish acting - who in his career had the opportunity to work with such directors as Andrzej Wajda, Juliusz Machulski, Janusz Morgenstern or Kazimierz Kutz.
You never know when everything will change in your life. One traffic accident turns the everyday life of a mature man upside down and triggers an avalanche of emotional events in which his entire family will be involved. Inspired by a true story, a moving film from Studio Munk, which specializes in discovering new talents, which gave Polish viewers the Golden Lions in Gdynia “Silent Night” and the award-winning paintings “Bread and Salt” or “Supernova”. In addition to the outstanding Jan Englert, on the big screen we will see: Anna Romantowska, twice awarded at the Festival of Polish Feature Films, as well as Michał Czernecki (“Everybody Knows Better”), Aleksandra Popławska (“Letters to M. 5”), Martyna Byczkowska (“1670"), Maria Kowalska (“Znachor”) and Mark Kalita (“Warlock”).
The arranged life of Tadeusz, the retired head of the hospital, changes in the blink of an eye when a dramatic traffic accident occurs. Instead of a calm and well-planned “golden autumn of life”, he is faced with a situation that surpasses both himself and those closest to him. The shadow falls on his marriage, his relationship with his son and the upcoming wedding of his beloved granddaughter. In addition, a woman will appear in the life of Tadeusz, under the influence of which he will begin to make surprising decisions. Day by day, the atmosphere begins to thicken, emotions take over, and the future ceases to be as certain as it seemed.
