Mystic

3 — 4 October SENIOR WEEKEND WITH CULTURE — tickets for 14 PLN for seniors

The Mystic is a moving, inspired by real events, the story of a woman who dared to follow the voice of her heart and cross the line of the known. It is a story about inner transformation, the search for the meaning of existence and the extraordinary path that led Alicja Lenczewska to experiences beyond material reality.

For years Alicja Lenczewska led a dynamic life. She was a loyal member of the Communist Party and a valued teacher — demanding, responsible, and totally devoted to her work. She loved foreign travel. It seemed that her future had been written a long time ago. Until the day when one meeting changed everything...

Despite the skepticism of the environment and her own fears, Alice embarks on the path of a deep spiritual life. Her mystical writings full of sincerity, hope and wisdom reach thousands of people in search of answers to the most important questions about love, suffering, faith and the meaning of life.

The Mystic is a film that moves the heart and prompts reflection. An intimate portrait of an extraordinary woman is intertwined here with a universal story of loneliness, courage and the need to find light even in the most difficult moments of life.

The role of Alicja Lenczewska stars Dorota Chotecka-Pazura, creating one of the most moving and mature creations of her career.
