MIX 26: On the Road

We present a selection of exciting queer animations in clay, 3D, ink and everything in between. Contrary to the popular belief that animation is just cartoons for children, these films prove that animation can be a tool for expressing queerness in new ways, pushing boundaries further and conveying emotions that cannot be put into words. Instead of softening or downplaying our desires, they sharpen them -- by embracing sexuality, perversity and transformation. We break out of kindergarten and into the queer adult world -- animation has never been more raw!
