Award-winning Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”) takes on the title role in a brilliant, uncompromising reinterpretation of Moliere's classic bitter comedy.

Telling the truth is not always easy. Alice, an outstanding novelist, hates the multi-story lies of modern society. However, the more she challenges the beliefs and actions of those around her, the more she is criticized. She soon has to face the price she comes to pay for speaking the truth in a world that would rather silence her.

Recorded live on the National Theatre stage, Martin Crimp's play (“Cyrano de Bergerac”) directed by Indhu Rubasingham is one of the most anticipated theatrical events of the season.
