The Powszechny Theatre in Radom implements the project “Young people read Gombrowicz — from reading to action” as part of the program “Culture - Interventions. Edition 2026”. It is a proposal combining theatre, literature and education, in which Witold Gombrowicz's work becomes a starting point to talk about experiences and challenges close to the younger generation.
The activities are attended by students of the XIII General High School with Bilingual Divisions of the Polish Nobel Laureates in Radom, the XII Witold Gombrowicz High School in Radom and the pupils of the Association of Artistic Creativity of People with Down Syndrome “Providence”.
During the theater lessons, participants will work with fragments of “Ferdydurke”, “Diaries” and other works by Gombrowicz. The classes will be attended by a playwright, a pedagogue and actors of the Radom theater.
