Young printers: modeling workshop in Tinkercad and 3D printing for children

For modeling classes in Tinkercad and 3D printing for children, we invite you to the neighboring hall of Chabrowa Marina 43. For whom: children 8-11 years old

Format: 4 meetings of 2 hours

Program: Tinkercad, a free, simple 3D modeling program, running in the browser

Does your child like to build, draw and invent? This is the perfect workshop where he will turn his imagination into a real, hand-held object.

In four meetings, children will learn:

— design in Tinkercad, a program used by schools and studios around the world,

— create your own projects: from the key fob, through the door plate, to the robot,

— prepare files for printing and run a real 3D printer.

Each child comes home with a set of hand-designed and printed works, and a skill they will use long after class (Tinkercad is free, so they can continue designing at home!).

The classes are conducted by Cyryl Sochacki, an engineer with more than 10 years of experience in technology education, co-creator of FabLab Gdańsk.
