Women's fashion of the 17th century — the clothes of the nobility and peasants

We invite you to a unique journey into the fashion world of the 17th century. During the interactive lecture, we will learn about the costumes of nobles and peasants, learn how clothing emphasized social status, and look at ancient fabrics, accessories and ways of wearing clothes.

We will pay special attention to women's fashion - dresses, headwear, jewelry and accessories, which not only adorned, but also spoke a lot about the position and lifestyle of their owners. The show will allow you to see how the costumes and customs changed and what the everyday life of people looked like a few hundred years ago.

This meeting will not only be a lecture, but also an opportunity to learn more about history through dress, details and stories about the life of the former inhabitants of the Republic of Poland.
