This play is called tragicomedy by its author. Which means that some will cry over the fate of the heroes, others may laugh for a moment. This is the story of a three-generation family that we meet on the occasion of the birthday of 25-year-old Frank, who cannot walk. The problem is that everyone is crippled in their own way, only in the soul. They are looking for happiness and love around them, but it is as it is. “I'm not with you to be happy, but to help me cope with my misfortune more easily,” the main character says to her husband. And the father asks, “Do you regret having a family?” Sometimes it's hard for them to keep up with each other, but they stick together. In a word, a family like many around us and maybe like our own. But as it happens in the theater: he can move more.
It is directed by Iwona Kemp, who directed the plays “Father” by F. Zeller and “To Know for Sure” by A. Bovell in our theater. In the role of Frank's mother, you will see Agata Kulesha.
