A film about the tragedy of the fragility of life and the comedy of attempts to enjoy it. The protagonists are elderly, lonely people, meeting suddenly and regaining their freedom and youth within the confines of their own home.

“My Favorite Cake” addresses many important issues that we face or will face in our lives. We will talk about the role of older people in our lives and how they are portrayed in pop culture. We will ask the question of what the title cake is and why it is so important.

HIGH/LOW CORTISOL

A new, original film series in which we will consciously swing between genres, themes and tension. Films will be selected in the key of high cortisol — action, tension, distrustful and critical attitude towards the world and low cortisol, i.e. bittersweet films, full of humor, tenderness, ordinary-unusual stories and human emotions, at which you can smile, move or just have fun.

Each film tells one and a million stories at the same time. Each of us perceives the world a little differently, reacts differently and has a different palette of associations and thoughts and this is the most interesting and often escapes when we have no one to talk to about what we have just watched. Together we will experience meetings that will tear us out of our own bubble of perception of the world. They will make us learn something about ourselves and make us think critically.

Marta Kożuchowska, the host of the series, invites you to brainstorm and emotions - a film expert and Internet creator, known under the name O_oezu, who for many years has been dealing with widely understood pop culture, film and commenting on reality in her own unique way.

Meetings within the cycle are held once a month.
