“Goldilocks” — a play about hatred, memory and wounds that remain in a person

Is hatred, increasingly spreading in our reality, capable of permanently altering human DNA?

“Goldilocks” is an unusual stage event that combines Rude's personal history with sounds, memories, exclusion, injustice and an attempt to reckon with the past. It is a show about emotions, memory and the consequences of what happens to us in our relationships with other people.

Bob Dylan, Black Hole and Judas emerge from his subconscious mind — seemingly distant elements that become components of a strange chemical reaction. The result is a red-haired man in his fifties who carries within him a great need to patch up the wounds inflicted by life.

However, “Goldilocks” is not exclusively a story about him.

It's a show about us. About what we do to each other. About hatred that can stay in a person for a long time. About the experiences that shape our behaviors, relationships and the way we look at the world.

“Goldilocks” is a theatrical tale of memory, exclusion, harm and an attempt to regain oneself. It is an encounter with emotions that often remain unspoken, and the question of what remains in a person after the experience of hatred.

Is it possible to heal wounds that cannot be seen? Can a person free himself from what has been written in him by others?

“Goldilocks” is looking for answers — a play about man, memory and the traces that our experiences leave behind.
