Movie: Rebuilding Bucha

🟥 WHY FREEDOM?
In February 2022, everything changed in Ukraine when Russia invaded Kyiv and began the bloodiest war in Europe since the Second World War. Four survivors try to navigate a new everyday reality marked by trauma, hope, loss, and grief. Shards of Light illustrates how freedom is impacted by war: the freedom to study, the freedom to be with a loved one, the freedom to live in peace.

The film screening is FREE and you simply have to show up.

🟥 What does freedom mean today, and who gets to experience it? WHY FREEDOM? is THE WHY Foundation's global documentary campaign, with five films from around the world exploring how freedom shapes people's lives, what threatens it, and why it matters now more than ever. It's time to ask: why freedom?
