The Mozart trio is another meeting with lounge music in the theatre at Świdnicka Street. This time the repertoire included two chamber pearls — one from the classical period and the other from the early 20th century.
The Kegelstatt Trio is an intimate masterpiece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart from 1786. The piece was written for an unobvious composition of instruments: clarinet, viola and piano. The work has an intimate and serene character and draws attention with an artful balance between the three voices.
Eight pieces for clarinet, viola and piano were written by Max Bruch in 1910, at the age of 72. This is an outstanding intimate cycle of the period of late Romanticism. The individual pieces are characterized by deep lyricism, sonority and intimate character. The composer did not originally consider the work as a strict concert cycle, but in the Wrocław Opera it will be possible to listen to the entire work performed by the instrumentalists of our theater.
