DR Concert Choir
The period of Lent before Easter gives rise to seriousness, contemplation and reflection.
Therefore, it has become a widespread tradition to perform the great death fairs, which revolve around the big, existential questions of life and death, and here you will have a rare opportunity to experience one of the most poignant works in the genre with the DR Koncertkoret in Koncertsalen.
It will be an intimate and special experience when the choir's 74 singers perform a rare version of Mozart's Requiem, accompanied by a smaller chamber ensemble.
Under the direction of conductor Carsten Seyer-Hansen, Mozart's unfinished masterpiece unfolds here as an opportunity for a meditative experience in both words and tones -- a concert that opens Easter time with calm, contemplation and gives room for reflection.
