Helena (65 years old) is now a lonely pensioner, who once bravely fought for her own life as a mother raising children, and has been caught up in some deception. She succumbed to the persuasion of a neighbor in love with her named Witek, who works at ZUS. The man, in order to increase his chosen one's meager pension, forged her documents and arranged an additional pension for the blind. Helena lives in a hell of remorse and is forced to pretend to be blind. At this point, her grown children snuggle up for her birthday. Now Helena — full of shame and fear — must consistently play the role of a darkened one in front of them as well. An incredibly comical situation unfolds, thanks to which hidden family secrets float to the surface and rust, long-buried bombs explode.
