We invite children from 6 to 12 years old for a boat trip! Legendary Polish transatlantic!
We will tell you about what the journey across the Atlantic looked like, how long it took, what could be done during the trip. You'll find out that this ship was a city! It had a swimming pool, bars, a cinema, a restaurant, a chapel, a reading room, a laundry, a magiel, a bakery, a pastry shop, a hairdresser and even a post office and a garage! We will answer the questions of whether the ship can be “happy”, what the bear was doing on the ship, who is the ship's mother and whether the ship can have a twin brother. Welcome aboard!
During the class, children will make collages using archival photographs. They will be led by Aleksandra Karkowska, co-author of the books Marsz marsz Batory and B jak Batory, among others. After the meeting, you will be able to purchase books with a dedication from the author.
