Mateusz Rzewuski — organist, postgraduate doctor of musical arts, one of the most actively performing Polish organists. He graduated from universities of music in four countries: in Poland — master's studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the organ class of Prof. Andrzej Chorosiński, in Germany — master's studies at the Musikhochschule in Lubeck in the class of organ professor Franz Danksagmüller, in France — postgraduate studies in organ playing and improvisation at the Regional Conservatory in Paris in the solo class of Prof. Christophe Mantoux, receiving the “Concertiste” diploma, and in Switzerland — postgraduate studies in early music at the Scholi Cantorum in Basel, in the master class of Prof. Wolfgang Zerer.
He obtained his Doctor of Music degree in the artistic field — Instrumentalism — in 2018 at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw on the basis of a dissertation on organ music by Marcel Duprég and Olivier Messiaen and the first CD in Poland recorded on the historical organ of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll in the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Orléans, France. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Arts with a habilitation in the discipline of musical arts in 2026 at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. The artist's second solo CD, “Polish Historic Organs in Olkusz & Pasłęk”, recorded on two exquisitely restored, historic organs in Olkusz and Pasłęk, was the artistic work indicated in the habilitation procedure.
Mateusz Rzewuski has performed as part of international festivals on four continents: in 23 countries of Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Hong Kong and Russia, performing recitals in many prestigious venues, among others in the philharmonic halls of Hong Kong, Moscow, Vilnius, Krakow, Bialystok; concert halls of famous universities, among others: California, Darmouth College, University of Tampa; Central Synagogue of New York or cathedrals
in: San Francisco, London, Wellington, Seoul, Edinburgh or Ulm.
He took an active part in numerous master classes conducted by: Guy Bovet, Peter van Dijk, Hans Fagius, Olivier Latra, Ludger Lohmann, Michael Radulescu, Daniel Roth and others.
Mateusz Rzewuski is also a laureate of many national and international organ competitions: in Rumia in 2011, in Legnica in 2013, in Bard in 2013 (1st prize), in Vilnius at the 7th Čiurlionis International Organ Competition in 2015 (2nd prize) and in Białystok in 2017 (1st prize). He is a scholarship holder of the President of the City of Warsaw and the Rector of the UMFC in Warsaw. He also received a scholarship from the Minister of Science and a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage “Young Poland” for master's studies in Germany.
Yelyzaveta Osipchuk was born in Ukraine, a graduate of the Kyiv City Music Academy named after R. Glier. After the outbreak of war in 2022, she moved to Poland. In 2025 she completed her first cycle studies at the Faculty of Vocal and Acting at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of solo singing, PhD Ewa Tracz, currently continuing her studies at the master's degree.
She is the soloist of the Sacred Music Concerts series of the Zabrze Philharmonic. She has collaborated with conductors Sławomir Chrzanowski, Maciej Tomasiewicz, Jerzy Dybal and Miłosław Oswald.
She made her debut on the stage of the Silesian Opera as Suor Genovieffa in G. Puccini's Suor Angelica directed by Michał Znaniecki. She also appeared as Pamina in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at Slezském divadle in Opava and Gianetta in G. Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore directed by Michał Znaniecki. She took part in the productions of Carmin Buran C. Orff and G. Puccini's Gyganeria.
Winner of the 1st place, the Main Prize and the ZAiKS Prize at the 11th Duets Competition in Poznań, as well as the winner of the 3rd place at the Maria Zamoyska Vocal Competition in Poznań and 3rd place at the Władysław Żeleński Vocal Competition in Krakow. Finalist of the Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský International Vocal Competition and the 6th Ars et Gloria International Vocal Competition in Katowice (2025).
