MUNA — the authors of the viral hit “Silk Chiffon”, who shared scenes with mega-stars like Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, have established themselves as the bold, authentic and confident voice of modern pop. Their fourth album “Dancing On The Wall” is a spectacular evolution: a dark, sharp and euphoric fusion of dance-pop, post-punk and new wave that captures the raw energy, uncertainty and political tensions of the modern world. Produced by Naomi McPherson, with piercing lyrics by vocalist Katie Gavin and pop artistry by Josette Maskin, the record combines introspective melancholy with pulsating, stadium sounds. Exploring the themes of desire, intimacy and love in difficult times, MUNA proves that she can create music that is socially engaging and at the same time full of exuberant, shared joy.
