The Musical Era of Rock

Genre: Musical

“Rock of Ages” is coming — we will ignite the love of rock in your hearts! The greatest hits of rock music and a crazy story set in the 80s tracks of such bands as: Europe, Bon Jovi, Journey, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Styx, Poison, as well as other famous rock bands.

It's 1987, and the legendary Bourbon Room in West Hollywood is a rundown, seedy club on the Sunset Strip. This iconic place has its good times behind it. It's run by laid-back former rock impresario Dennis Dupree and nurtured by a mischievous assistant, Lonny. When a young, hopeful Sherrie Christian, a small-town girl who wants to become an actress, arrives in town, she runs into Drew, a Bourbon Room waiter who dreams of rock and roll fame. In love at first sight, Drew convinces Dennis to hire Sherrie, and the scene seems set for their romas. But when the mayor of West Hollywood, at the urging of several sneaky German developers, announces his intention to demolish the Bourbon Room and the entire Sunset Strip, the stakes rise. Dennis convinces the rock god Stacee Jaxx, lead singer of the Arsenal mega-group, to play the band's final concert in the Bourbon Room, hoping the money raised will stop the building's demolition. But Stacee, a man of enormous charisma and a huge ego, leaves quite a mess behind. He gets into an affair with Sherrie and is knocked out by his own band before the end of the show. In the midst of violent protests against demolition, Sherrie flees to a nearby strip club and Drew falls into the clutches of a boy band. Who can save the Bourbon Room, young lovers and warring Germans?
