THE MUSICAL KING MACIUS THE FIRST

Once upon a time there was a kingdom in which something unheard of happened: on the throne, instead of a bearded king, sat a little boy, a little naive, a little lonely, a little stubborn, but above all curious about the world and ready to fight for his childhood dreams. But how to lead a state when you are eleven years old, with a head full of ideas, and around yourself serious ministers who know everything best?

The Gorzów Philharmonic invites you to the musical Kral Maciuś the First, based on the famous novel by Janusz Korczak. It is a story told with pomp, humor and contemporary temperament, set in the middle of a child's world, in which the simple and obvious is not always what others expect; it is a story of being an ordinary child in extraordinary circumstances — of victories and failures, of friendship and loneliness, of challenges and doubts, of choices and responsibility.

It is a musical that will entertain, move, surprise and freeze your blood. And it will happen on stage! Unexpected twists, secret deliberations, mysterious disappearances, dark intrigues and a childish revolution that will turn everything upside down.

Together with the young heroes, we will also look for answers to quite serious questions. What kind of world do children dream of? Are adults always right? And what to do when the royal crown turns out to be heavier than it might seem? We will tell you about this and many other important things already in December in our new musical about a little boy who became a king.

Join us and be a part of this remarkable story!
