On February 12, an ecstatic dance party is doomed as Muskila + Simona Abdallah dazzle up to their quivering sonic universe.

At the intersection of tradition and celebration, you will find musical partners Muskila and Simona Abdallah.

The duo moves smoothly and effortlessly between electronic music and Kurdish and Palestinian rhythms in a universe where Muskila's high-energy DJ set meets Simona Abdallah's hand-played percussion on, among other things, the traditional instrument, the darbuka.

Together they have created a sound that is interspersed to the brim with breakbeat, rave and a hypnotic pulse, where celebration, community and not least dance are one of the cornerstones. And the dance is central.

Because in the epicenter of the music one finds especially irresistible rhythms that can bring even the most bored soul to the floor.

The music medium Soundvenue placed them in their “Top 10 highlights from Roskilde Festival's First Days programme”, writing:

“It was impossible to stand still, it was simply not allowed. And so it was incredibly fascinating to feel the sizzlingly intense, deeply concentrated chemistry that played out between Muskila and Abdallah, and which was obviously necessary to create such a tight universe.”

Both together and separately, Muskila and Simona Abdallah have performed at everything from Boiler Room, Power Festival, Insomnia Festival to Carousel Festival, Into The Great Wide Open and RAUM. Their first music together will be released in early 2027.
