Time to Say Goodbye

Christmas is a time of return — to loved ones, to memories and to the stories that have accompanied us for years during winter evenings. The concert performed by the Silesian Chamber Orchestra will be a musical journey through the most beautiful cinematic stories full of magic, humor, adventure and emotion. It is a meeting with melodies that from the first sounds evoke images familiar from the big screen and allow you to relive your favorite cinematic stories.

The program will feature songs related to films that are especially popular during the Christmas season. There will be music from Kevin alone at home, whose warmth and childlike joy have accompanied the December reunions of families for years, as well as themes from It's Love and Holiday — films that have become an integral part of the winter atmosphere. Audiences will also hear moving Hallelujah from Shrek and emotional tunes from Titanic.

The concert will also take listeners to worlds full of fantasy and extraordinary heroes. We will visit Hogwarts with music from the Harry Potter series, we will go to Narnia, we will live the adventures of the heroes How to Train the Dragon, the Lion King and Kung Fu Panda, as well as remember unforgettable themes from the Pirates of the Caribbean and Superman. There will also be monumental themes from Transformers and Jurassic Park, which have been among the most recognizable compositions of film music for years.

The program will also include songs that delight with their timeless beauty. Melodies from Terminal or Time to Say Goodbye will remind you that film music can move as strongly as the greatest works of classical music, and its strength lies in the ability to tell stories without words.

This is an evening for whole families, cinema lovers and all those who want to stop for a moment in the festive courtship and immerse themselves in the world of the most beautiful film melodies.
