Music of the Collection

We invite you to a unique concert dedicated to the memory of people associated with the creation and work for the MNC Muzeum Czartoryski. In the historic interiors of the Museum will sound two works of music of the 18th century — Requiem by Niccolò Jommelli and Concerto op. 2 No. 3 by Giuseppe Sammartini.

The concert will not only be a meeting with excellent music, but also a moment of remembrance and reflection on the people who over the years have co-created the Museum, its collection and activities. The title of the event — “Non omnis moriar” (“Not everything will die”) — refers to Horatian's reflection on the permanence of memory and the legacy that remains after man.

Before the concert, an introductory speech will be given by Dr. Katarzyna Płonka-Bałus.
