One of the most famous musicals in the history of musical theater, present for years in the repertoires of Polish scenes already this autumn in pckul.

The play is based on the drama “Pygmalion” by George Bernard Shaw and tells the story of a simple florist Eliza Doolittle, who, thanks to the phonetic experiment of Professor Henry Higgins, undergoes an unusual metamorphosis. The goal of the scientist is to teach the girl impeccable pronunciation and manners so that she can pass herself off as a lady from the upper echelons. In the course of this transformation, however, questions arise about the dignity, identity and limits of interference in human life.

“My Fair Lady” impresses not only with its intelligent, humorous libretto, but also with Frederick Loew's unforgettable music and brilliant lyrics. Such hits as “Dance All Night”, “One Little Lucky Luck” or “I Know This Street” have become some of the most popular musical songs. The show combines elegance, wit and emotion, offering viewers a show full of colorful costumes, dance scenes and a timeless message. That is why “My Fair Lady” invariably enjoys popularity on the stages and attracts subsequent generations of viewers.
