A pack of homeless dogs lives in a disused garbage dump on the edge of town. It is led by Black - young, aggressive, unwilling to people. Each of the dogs has its own story, sad and bitter. The little naive Dot has been abandoned by a man, the dachshund Rasowa, after the death of his master, forgotten in an empty apartment by his family, the old circus dog Cichy no longer has the strength to entertain the audience, and the clever-dog Wise Man pretends that everything is ok He has long since come to terms with his fate, the old dog Lamy, does not trust anyone Pretty, and the great and gentle Faithful is still waiting for “his Man.” But instead of grieving and worrying, dogs try to continue to live and enjoy life. Because this is already the nature of the dog: joyful and optimistic! Soon the pack is joined by the Cat, a charming liar and sybarite, accustomed to living “on a level”. The story of its decline only confirms the fact that anyone can become poor and homeless, regardless of social status. Over the heads of abandoned animals collects
About the event
When I talk about dogs, I want to talk to children about homelessness and exclusion, about those who “did not succeed”. Are you sure that nothing like this will happen to you in your life? I hope that thanks to my art, at least one dog or cat will be saved. And thanks to him, you people. To save the world, nothing more is needed.
Henio Pies
The play We, psy is the first stage work written by Henia Psa, an outstanding entertainer, dramatic tenor, one of the most handsome mutts of the middle generation. A native of Warsaw, Henio Pies has been associated with the Kazimierz Dejmek New Theatre in Łódź for five seasons. He starred in three performances. He was awarded many times — for his role as the Dog Jip in the play Doctor Dolittle and Friends, he received, among others, the Kazimierz Dejmek Dog Award and the “Golden Sausage”. He successfully manages the garden at the New Theatre (from West Street). Exemplary husband and father. It is to Alf (son) that he is going to hand over his stage roles soon (I finish acting. Since my novels “Summer in Zagaj” and “Admiral Yamamoto's Hat” were so successful, I had to decide what to do next. And well, I hope the fans of my acting will forgive, but I'm going to devote myself entirely to literature). He lives with his hosts — pianist Lena Ledoff and actor Przemysław Dąbrowski in the village of Zagaj on the border of Wielkopolska and Łódź.
Duration of the performance: 2 hours with a break.
