One of the biggest talents of the vibrant European soul, Myles Sanko, will perform on the Blue Note stage as part of a tour promoting his latest album “I See My Light”!
His music, which draws from Ghanaian and French roots, embodies a rich cultural mosaic and the indomitable strength of the artist's spirit. Rooted in a distinctive fusion of soul, jazz and hip-hop, Myles Sanko further elaborates on this unique, contemporary sound on his new album. Music critics describe them as “a unique style that combines passionate, soulful preaching with cool jazz sophistication.”
For him, the album “I See My Light” is both a continuation and a transformation — proof of development not only as an artist, but also as a person. The album exudes confidence, courage and hope.
His artistic path leads from the bustling streets of Accra to collaborations with music icons such as Gregory Porter, Martha High, China Moses and Ben L'oncle Soul. Joint projects with such characters as Nicola Conte or the conductor and Grammy award winner Gast Waltzing further highlight its versatility.
