How do you restore and develop a historic building without losing what makes it so special?
On selected Thursdays, we invite Glyptoteket's annual card holders to a special event with one of the museum's many experts. Look forward to feeling the passion and being drawn to the deep knowledge of the experts.
Get a unique insight when Project Manager Sine Averhoff talks about the work on Glyptoteket's upcoming restoration project Glyptotek of the Future. Based on the museum's architecture and building history, Sine talks about how history is actively involved in the work of preserving and developing the buildings of the Glyptotek — and about the many considerations and choices that come with equipping a house with such a strong identity for the future.
We explore the museum and take a closer look at specific places and details of the building. Along the way, we will become more aware of how conservation values, architecture, indoor climate, safety, accessibility and modern museum operation should be brought into a higher unit.
