On the side

There are many things you can do on the side in life... You can sleep on the side, work, and supposedly even romance. In Konstancin, just outside Warsaw, you can escape from trouble or enter a world that will bring tears to tears even the most spied.

Description of the show

Helena (Karolina Chapko/Ilona Janyst) is an author of cheap romances who decides to test how her literary fantasies taste in practice. Together with Gracjan (Marcin Korcz/Stefan Pawłowski), an incredibly handsome but unfulfilled actor, they decide to write a new chapter of the “ballad about infidelity”. Although the love novel is worthy of the “Empik Bestseller”, lovers - as in life - do everything to keep it hidden.

In a full conspiracy and theatrical costume, Gratian is inclined to sacrifice, but the elite audience of Constantine decides to appreciate his artistry in the full glare of the spotlight. An imperfect radio operator (Andrzej Andrzejewski/Tomasz Dutkiewicz) appears with the “Mistress of the Month” award, and the couple's achievements in the field of abstract art are appreciated even by a nosy neighbor and at the same time former wife of the current husband (Daria Widawska). The untwisted plumber (Bogdan Kalus/Rafał Szalajko) is not indifferent to artistic sensations, but in order to meet the exorbitant expectations of a director full of vision (Piotr Miazga/Mariusz Zaniewski), the couple has to work hard.

“On the Side” directed by Tomasz Dutkiewicz is a brazenly funny farce in a star-studded cast, in which the doorbell does not fall silent, and every opening of them threatens a moral catastrophe. However, it is guaranteed that there will be many loud reviews of this masked art of lovemaking, because even a dog is spoken in Konstancin.
