About the event

Stage: Big Stage

This is not a story about drunkenness. It's a story about struggling with life that starts to lose its flavor. This is not a story about drunkenness. It's a story about friendship. About how to find meaning again, how to regain love and awaken joy and carelessness in yourself. After all, this is the story of four friends who think that in order to achieve all this, all it takes is half a mile.

“On the Rausch” is a hit black comedy. The show is a stage adaptation of the 2020 Oscar-winning film. Four tired teachers decide to test the theory of Norwegian psychiatrist Finn Skårderud, according to which human blood contains half a mile of alcohol too little. Gradually, however, the experiment is getting out of hand.

The copyright of the authors and interpreter of the play is represented by Nordiska ApS, Copenhagen (www.nordiska.dk), in cooperation with the Drama and Theatre Agency ADiT.

- is an anonymous phone for people experiencing problems related to the consequences of their own addiction or loved ones. Open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.00.

“This is a show about a tough male friendship, in which talking about problems and emotions is the most difficult of the arts. It's easier to get drunk together than to talk. But aren't we still lonely in such a friendship? Is it a friendship at all. It is a spectacle about overwhelming, growing and overwhelming problems that, if not solved in time, can lead to the fact that our lives will only go downhill. And therefore, after laughter should come reflection, how after an alcoholic party comes a hangover and awakening. And the question is whether we still want to go through it or do we prefer to take a different path.”
