Is it possible to love a father, knowing that he was a monster?

The young director is making a documentary about the heroes of June '76. In an intimate atmosphere, former oppositionists open their private archives of memory to her — folders full of painful memories, sentences and traumas hidden over the years. However, routine interviews quickly turn into an emotional trap. The director makes a shocking discovery: the man who with sadistic satisfaction destroyed the lives of her interlocutors and their children is... her own, beloved father.

“On the Paths of Health” directed by Andrzej Sadowski is a captivating non-fiction theater that goes beyond the framework of a historical document. It's a suspenseful, intimate drama about inheriting guilt, confronting a family demon, and a dramatic quest for forgiveness. The show raises uncompromising questions: how to live with the stigma of truth and can the executioner and the victim look each other in the eyes after years?
