{Live} — Marta Kosieradzka

How to translate a sculpture, painting or drawing into a choreographic movement? How can visual arts strategies shape body perception and stage composition?

On October 21 at 18:00 we invite you to the Cinema for a meeting with Marta Kosieradzka as part of the series {Live}.

Marta Kosieradzka — dancer, choreographer, performer and visual artist whose practice develops at the intersection of movement, image and space. In her work, she explores the relationship between the body, perception and composition, treating choreography as a tool for building images and new ways of stage presence. Her interdisciplinary approach combines contemporary dance with art forms, film (screendance) and installation. He develops his own methods of working with movement, among others as part of the Picture, Space and Rhythm laboratories, implemented at the Theater Institute in Warsaw, the Praxis center in Oslo or the Lublin Dance Theater.

During the meeting we will talk about her artistic practice, the interpenetration of dance and visual arts, somatic body memory and the translation of artistic experiences into the language of choreography. Marta Kosieradzka is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Arts Council of Norway and Arts Stations Foundation. She presented her performances, performances and video projects in Poland and around the world (e.g. at the Oktoberdans festival in Bergen, in the old Munch Museum in Oslo, Kelim Choreography Center in Tel Aviv). Her most recent works include choreographers Płaczki and the duo The Spell (inspired by the work of Louise Bourgeois), qualified for the Polish Dance Platform 2026.
