Close! Christiane Löhr & Herman de Vries
Matthäikirchplatz 6, 10785 Berlin, BerlinIn his elementary poem Nach der Natur, author W. G. Sebald posed the question of a “silent catastrophe” in the ecology of natural and human communities with compelling poetic language images. His language work from 1988 forms the horizon, before which two current artistic working methods “according to nature” are presented: The etchings and drawings by artist Christiane Löhr on texts by Maria Luisa Spaziani and Oswald Egger as well as the botanical, yet artistic field research by Herman de Vries, in particular his first journal A Scottish Diary In Memory of the Scottish Forests from 1986. Book Art Collection, presented together with artist Christiane Löhr.
