The November darkness is kept at bay by Naja Rosa in Lille VEGA

In April, Naja Rosa will release her fifth solo album and is once again ready to fill the country's venues with her poetic pop and soul inspired songs.

The upcoming release, the follow-up album to 2022's Closer To The Sun, resonates with an acoustic soundscape and puts the soulful, the honest and the present as a driving force. Partly in the more shaven compositions of the soundscape and partly in the textual universe's reflection of time and the world as it is today.

A preview of the April release has landed in the form of the single “If Only Love Could Save Us,” which was released last November. The single is a musical testimony from a world where madness seems to have taken over the air, and Rosa exudes in the song a crystal clear message that only with the help of love can we turn to the light and hope.

On “If Only Love Could Save Us,” a laid-back and superior back curtain of acoustic guitar, drums and wind instruments backs up Naja Rosa's virtuosic and longing-filled vocals.

Since childhood, Naja Rosa Koppel has enjoyed music very close to her life. Growing up as the daughter of Annisette and Thomas Koppel, Rosa herself has composed, recorded and been a big part of the continuation of The Savage Rose for the past 20 years.

She has toured extensively with the band and played on stages such as Roskilde Festival's Orange Stage, and in November the audience can therefore look forward to hearing new songs from Rosa's ever-growing songwriting treasure. It will be a night when the music tinkles in an otherwise dark November sky.
