Film music can conjure up images, emotions and stories familiar from the big screen in an instant. Concert The most beautiful film music will be a journey through unique soundtracks — both those that have permanently entered the history of cinema and themes rarely performed on concert stages.

The main roles of this evening will go to the violin and piano. The solo parts will feature Anna Magdalena Ziółkowska and Karina Komendera, accompanied by the Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. The audience will hear music in which the film narration is combined with the full sound of the orchestra, the virtuosity of the soloists and the unique melodiousness.

The program will include compositions by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Howard Shore, and tunes from such productions as Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, Space Odyssey, Game of Thrones and Interstellar. It is the music of creators who, with the help of sound, were able to tell about love, longing, drama, hope and human courage.

A carefully selected repertoire will show the diversity of film music — from the chamber subtlety to the broad, symphonic sound. The evening will be hosted by Mariusz Gradowski, introducing the audience to the stories of the presented works and films.
