BURSTING THEATER 52
Gerald Siblayre
INSCRIPTION
French comedy

Brief description of the play - in the pen of its creators:
In one of the Parisian tenement houses, new tenants move in — Mr. Lebrun. Paris, as you know, is the capital of tolerance, fashion, correctness and progress, and so the new neighbors were greeted... With a vulgar inscription in the elevator?! Something is wrong here... who could have given them such an unpleasant surprise? Just two weeks after the move, have they already managed to expose themselves to someone? Or are their neighbors not at all as progressive and tolerant as they claim? Mr. Lebrun decides to look for answers to these questions. Under the pretext of a welcome party, he invites everyone to dinner. However, as it turns out, Mr. Lebrun is not the only person who has scheduled an “audition” for that evening. The other tenants also want to get to know their new neighbors better. With more questions, lifestyle suggestions, and unsolicited advice, the atmosphere is getting denser and thicker. Will Mr. Lebrun be able to determine whose skin he fell for? What will result from the direct confrontation of the neighbors? And for the rest, are Parisians actually as progressive as they claim?
