Love drink

One of the most popular comic operas is full of wit, virtuoso arias and a verve finale! Who has not dreamed (even once!) about having a wonderful drink that could turn the heart of a loved one to him, not yet very affectionate and open to love confessions and proposals? And what if such an elixir has in its offer a wandering charlatan, who thus acquires the naive and in love? It's the starting point for a real heart-rending drama — or a great comedy full of funny situations and funny misunderstandings. And this is what Gaetano Donizetti thought, composing music for one of the most charming comic operas, the Love Drink. The story of the unlucky Nemorin, the beautiful Adina and the clever Dulcamar will definitely not disappoint any listener! The Szczecin staging takes viewers back to the 1930s to an idyllic Italian province. On stage, atmospheric scenography, costumes and period vehicles.
