National Reading — “Dziady cz. II”

“Dark everywhere, deaf everywhere... What will it be, what will it be?” That is, “Grandfather part. II” in Włoszakowicz style! The Municipal Public Library and the Municipal Cultural Center in Włoszakowice cordially invite you to the National Reading “Dziadów cz. II” by Adam Mickiewicz. We will meet on Sunday, October 25th, at 18:00 in the GOK Entertainment Hall in Włoszakowice. Admission is free!

Later than the rest of Poland, but for that... how! This year we invite you to the world of one of the most important works of Polish Romanticism. Two worlds will meet: people and spirits. It will be mysterious, moody and non-standard, and questions about human life, guilt, punishment and responsibility will appear on the stage.

We will be introduced to the extraordinary atmosphere of “Dziadów” by the voices of the Choir of St. Cecilia from Bukowiec Górny, students of the Włoszakowice school and unexpected guests. This evening, the worlds of the living and the dead will be closer than ever.
