Birth of the Earth

In the early days of the universe, gas giants wreaked havoc. Worlds were made and died. How did the Earth survive? We invite you to a new film at the Planetarium.

“The Birth of the Earth” is a picture showing the difficult history of our planet in an extremely suggestive way. The film uses advanced cinematic visualizations based on reliable data.

How is it possible that after such a stormy birth of the solar system, life was born on Earth? Why was it created here? Will the history of our planet help us find planets similar to it in the Milky Way?

During the film, we will travel back billions of years — to a time when life was just being born in craters filled with organic soup. We will look at the origins of our planet and the beginnings of life that changed its meaning in the Universe.
