The Sensitive Strings project is the largest production on our domestic phonographic market. It is also an unprecedented event in the world. Selected works by Fryderyk Chopin have for the first time acquired a symphonic setting combined with a verbal layer. This new, multi-layered sound coat was given to them by outstanding Polish composers and arrangers: Adam Sztaba, Krzysztof Herdzin, Nikola Kołodziejczyk, Paweł Tomaszewski and Jan Smoczyński.
The initiative of the whole project and the idea of combining such diverse creative forces belong to Natalia Kukulska — one of the most appreciated singers, who constantly surprises with new projects. It is she who bravely performs Chopin's works in the new version, and at the same time is the author of half of the lyrics on this album. The artist also invited other esteemed authors to collaborate on the lyrical layer: Kayah, Mela Koteluk, Gaba Kulka, Natalia Grosiak and Bovska.
The Affectionate Strings project was a spectacular success and met with an extremely warm reception from critics and audiences alike. Already at the pre-sale stage, the publishing house was on the podium of Empik bestsellers in all music categories and was at the top of the Official OLis Sales List. Complementing this success was the achievement of Gold, Platinum and eventually Double Platinum status.
In 2025 Natalia Kukulska represented Poland with the project Czyły struny at the World EXPO Exhibition in Osaka, Japan. She then performed in the largest Matsuri arena, which was filled to the brim. The concert was named the Event of the Year 2025 in the Viva! People Power.
