Nature — my reality

The exhibition of paintings by Agata Michałowska can be seen until 24 October at the PIK Gallery.

On 25 September (Friday), at 18:00, the opening of the exhibition of Agata Michałowska's painting “Nature — My Reality” took place at PIK Gallery at 8 Jana Kilińskiego Street. It is an exhibition that invites the viewer to the world of nature, seen through the filter of a sensitive artist.

The exhibition will be open until October 24.

Although the presented canvases are characterized by workshop reliability and attention to detail, they are not only a pictorial record of reality. It is a personal story of admiration for the world, in which realism meets a subjective feeling of light, space and a variety of textures. Each painting is an invitation to look at nature through the eyes of the creator — as a space close, intimate and conducive to contemplation. Agatha paints... What then does she feel, what does she think about, why is she surprised? This is a mystery to us. And let it stay that way. Ours can only be her paintings.

Agata Michałowska. A graduate of the Lyceum of Fine Arts in Supraśl, with a master's degree in English philology. He is engaged in painting, mainly landscape painting. He loves space and nature, the perfection of which he admires every time, standing at the easel. She doesn't look too far — she's lucky to live in a place where she finds inspiration right on her doorstep. It goes out into the open air almost every day, regardless of the season and weather. It is like an addiction, almost an obligation, which confirms belonging to one's place on earth. She has long taken root here, but only now, thanks to painting, she feels fulfilled.

Piotr Drozdowski, a graduate of the PSM II degree in Łomża and the Diocesan Institute of Church Music in Łomża, played at the opening ceremony.
